Now that we have moved and are settled (Oh I can't tell you how good it feels!), I am able to do things again that I couldn't do for MONTHS! My sewing machine is out and in use again!
My current obsession is this pattern:
http://handmadebyrita.blogspot.com/2007/10/classic-rrp-ritas-rump-pocket-pattern.htmlYesterday I made three diapers from that pattern. I'd never tried this pattern before so by the time I made the third diaper, I figured out how to do it. hehe
Now I need to figure out covers and soakers for these diapers, but the idea overwhelms me right now. Maybe someday!

I made two in the rainbow fabric and one in the teddy bear fabric.

The inner is fine microfleece which wicks moisture into the core so that baby still feels soft, dry, and comfortable!

The first diaper I made promptly got put on to my model!

Standing- a little wobbly!

This is when I noticed the gapping in the back. So on the next two I made I added waist elastic which worked beautifully!

Good job on your diapers. You continue to amaze and impress me. And good job on Will ;)--- he is ADORABLE!!!
Oh my goodness. He's a natural in front of the camera!
Man, I wish you'd consider selling. Those diapers look awesome. I can sew a button on and maybe mend a hole. But that's the extent of that talent for me.
I dunno Lisa! I might consider selling except that these aren't anything fancy. They are fitteds (so require a cover) and with no snaps or velcro! I pin them with a diaper pin. They do the job but I can't imagine folks wanting to buy them since they certainly don't have all the bells and whistles!
I just bought that diaper changing cover for our nursery at church & its seriously made me reconsider using it for my nursery at home (in a few months). I just love it!
