So a lot has happened since the last time I posted! It’s overwhelming really. I could write an epic I think if I were to include all the interesting details. Life has been very eventful lately!
- ICAN Conference – How could I possibly ever sum it up? I’m not sure I even have it in me to try! There is just too much. I’m STILL just trying to process everything! The conference manual met rave reviews and I was tickled pink with how well received it was! I’m already totally pumped and looking forward to the next conference. I loved being a part of conference planning and learned a lot through the process. I already have a lot of ideas on how to improve for next time! I also already volunteered to be responsible for the conference manual again. I re-volunteered for the position prior to even leaving St. Louis. I texted Steven right after and let him know I volunteered. He texted back and said, “Are you SOBER!?” lol
- Steven attempted to chop off his thumb with a chisel while caring for the four oldest kids by himself. He survived and thrived in spite of it. He’s SUPERMAN!
- We have an awesome new compost bin that Steven made by himself. (Highly related to the previous bullet point…)
- I finally bit the bullet and got my Etsy shop started called Heart and Earth Organics and Steven reserved the web domain www.heartandearth.com for me. For now it links directly to Etsy, but makes an easy way for me to share.
- I have created lots of new things for my shop but am to the point where things need to sell before I get all excited about the new ideas I have stored up in my head. I have a lot more to add and a lot more cool ideas ready to try out, but I think I need to focus more on marketing and less on product development for a while. I’ve been getting ahead of myself with listing new things. It’s very fun, but moving current inventory is quite necessary now! I can’t really afford to lose inventory or replace lacking ingredients yet! I am not great with marketing so any and all help would be SO appreciated! Please share on your blogs, facebook walls, or anywhere else you are willing that is appropriate. I would be forever grateful!

Looks really great. My, you've added quite a few products since you opened. How exciting!
Impressed as always! Looks amazing. I will have to try some stuff once I get a bit more settled in a few months!!!
