Thankful ABCs

  • A – Adonia. My trio means so much to me. We have the best of times together.
  • B- Bathtub. Our new bathtub is rather large. And that’s an understatement. Not many tubs could handle a mom and 4 kids (comfortably) all at one time. May sound strange, but it’s a huge time saver for us. It’s like buy-one-get-four-free baths. One bath = four clean kids? Yes, please! And I could go on about how much they love “swimming” in the tub!
  • C- Claire. She’s a sweetheart.
  • D- Dad. My Dad is the best. He’s kind, wise, funny, generous, supportive, good-natured, and very loveable.
  • E- Emily and Ephraim. Yes, I’m cheating. My oldest and youngest children. Emily is full of surprises and I’m so proud of her. Ephraim is a cuddly baby who is growing up way too fast. He is just precious!
  • F- Family. Near and far, I love my family.
  • G- Greenlife. Trivial, yes. But it’s our favorite store!
  • H- Home. I love our new home. We have enjoyed it immensely. I look forward to many more years in this house.
  • I- ICAN. ICAN has been a wonderful resource and outlet for me. I’m honored and thrilled to be the co-leader of ICAN of Chattanooga.
  • J- Jesus. He’s my savior and my only hope for the future.
  • K- Kids. My kids are such a joy and a tremendous blessing!
  • L- Laughter. It’s the best medicine!
  • M- Mom. My mom is my go-to woman for so many questions or just a listening ear. She’s got a lot of common sense and experience. Mom is smart and I want to be like her in so many ways.
  • N- Nana. (Steven’s mom.) Nana is always willing to help with whatever we need. She’s amazingly supportive and I really appreciate that. And of course the kids adore her and she’s fantastic with them!
  • O- Old friends. The friends that have known me from childhood have been such lasting and good friends!
  • P- Pregnancy. (No, I’m not, thanks for asking.) So many friends are expecting now and ICAN obviously involves a lot of pregnant mamas and I love it!
  • Q- Questions from my kids. Often they ask questions that lead to some of our best conversations. Best means either the funniest or most meaningful.
  • R- Rest. It is scarce at times, but when I get it, it is GOOD.
  • S- STEVEN! He’s far better than I ever imagined my husband would be. Loving, supportive, understanding, hard-working, humble, dedicated, and the best dad humanly possible. His family comes first and he adores his kids and I just love watching him with them. I loooove him!
  • T- Time. Such a precious gift! Time flies and I’m trying to enjoy every moment!
  • U- Understanding. Friends who understand me are a wonderful blessing!
  • V- Violin. I love playing and it’s a nice source of income too! My trio, recording gigs, symphony, Chattanooga Symphony, and playing in church are all things that I love to do and that I get to do quite often!
  • W- Will. Will is my little chunky monster who is so sweet and loving. He’s at such a fun age and I don’t think he could be any cuter!
  • X- Xylitol, a fantastic and healthy alternative to sugar. I've been using it a lot lately in addition to Stevia.
  • Y- Yearly celebrations of Thankfulness! Like now!
  • Z- Zephaniah 3:17. The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

Aww, I love your list! We did one, too, this year. I just finished putting it all up (I was updating as we went along...)
